Formula Drift 2008

Yesterday a bunch of dudes and dudettes went to the Formula Drift Singapore held at Changi Exhibition Centre. The sun was viciously hot and we were all near to melting point.

The HOT race queens. And if you think they are not Hot enough for you, let's move on to.. ..

Yah.. the "HOT" race kings. (Where got race king take umbrella one?..)

Just a mere few hours of "tia xia & pi yan" (听声闻烟 a.k.a. listen sound smell smoke）I was roasted. And I'm obviously miserable now because wearing my usual strap bra would hurt as though I'm being skinned off my shoulder.

And I finally just understood why this peculiar girl was heavily cladded in tight jeans and seemingly thick hooded jacket under the blistering sun. To think I was mocking her senseless choice of attire on a sizzling hot afternoon. She was so blardy smart, in her own way of course.

I'm not gonna make new year resolutions anymore because they will never work out. I can say that I'm pretty contented with my life and everything that I have so far.

I also thank God for Jamie for I love her more than anything else.

Boxing Day

Q: When is Boxing Day?
A: Boxing Day is the following day after Christmas Day. It is on the 26 December. Like Christmas Day, Boxing Day is also a Public Holiday (unfortunately, it doesn't happen here in Singapore).

Q: Why is 26 December called the Boxing Day in England?

A: Traditionally, this was the day to open the Christmas Box to share its contents with the poor.

The few of us had dinner together yesterday evening. Our initial plan was to dine at IndulgZ Bistro but who would have known that the restaurant decided to take time off on Boxing Day.

Fret Not!! 'Coz we moved on to Siam Kitchen at Bugis Junction.

And since we couldn't get a chance to taste the former's "Lychee & White Wine Sorbet", we settled for the alternative. Siam Kitchen's "Lychee Freezee"!!!.. It tasted just like its name, very lychee and very freezy.

The food spread. Not much was ordered for we weren't much of big-eaters. (Except for PohLee who was stuffed-silly by his attentive & caring girlfriend)

PL was trying to.. I dunno what he was trying to prove anyway. But I just could not not post this st***d photo of him. (Sorry Jas)

Team B had our Christmas gift exchange today, like what we did one year ago. But it's a different feeling this Christmas because Sobi is leaving us for India very soon.

Buffet full day

13th October 2007, Saturday.
Everything is happening on the same day but for different reasons.

1. Cousin's baby shower celebration, buffet starting from 12.00pm onwards
2. Colleague's housewarming party, buffet starting from 11.30am onwards
3. Colleague's 21st birthday celebration, buffet starting from 6.30pm onwards..

How?
Actually there's no difficulty at all and the choice is easy. *wicked laugh, mua-ha-ha-ha-ha*
I'll have to skip item 2 because the invitation came in way too late, sorry hor.

And.. all ordered buffet leh!
Me will probably be eating fried rice, fried beehoon and curry chicken, sweet sour meat, etc etc.. for the entire day..
