1900-donate-to-who???

Couple of weeks ago, I was chatting with my parents over dinner. We talked about Durai with his golden tap that's flowing peanuts and I subtly mentioned about our local charity hero, Reverend Shi Ming Yi. (he, who has performed many, many stunts on television)

Me: "Since that Durai can have a golden tap, maybe that Ming Yi drives a Lamborghini.."

Bro: "Wahahaha! Ya hor.. they could be in the whole thing together.."

Dad: "Hey! He's a Venerable, very very holy and you all cannot say such things about him."

Me: "Aiyah! Say say only mah.. but really loh, who knows.."

Dad: "By saying such things, you will not hurt him but in return you are committing a sin."

Me: ".. .. .." -_-

And so, I didn't think much of that conversation again.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, the Thursday news reported that.. Ren Ci Hospital is now going through investigations for "financial irregularities".. Uh-oh... Conflict of interest...tsk tsk tsk
