Tremors

Was checking my email when I felt the slight tremor, for that moment I felt dizzy. Fellow colleagues felt it too except for a few who were “immunized against earthquakes” didn’t even realise what happened.
Even The Boss who was having a meeting at WingTai office in Tampines, felt the shakes.

Earthquake in Sumatra measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale of 10, killing 82. Apparently, we were not the only ones on the island who felt it.

It says: Breaking news - Tremors have been reported in many parts of Singapore

Now as I’m typing, our building’s management is speaking through the PA system,: “As tremors are felt in many parts of Singapore… … we are now monitoring the situation… … if evacuation is necessary, announcement will be made through the PA system” *Haha, couldn't catch the whole announcement though.

I also realised that BCA (Building and Construction Authority) was flooded with calls from concerned public who felt the tremors. Many wanted to know if our buildings are safe and whether will they be able to cushion the impact of such shocks. Singaporeans... sometimes really got no common sense yet plenty of Kypo-ness & Kai-si-ness. C'mon, such small impact and you think our buildings are built out of paper meh??? Duh!!! Be smart don't act smart. (Shakes head... ...)

While the tremors can be felt by us, by the time these forces reached Singapore, they are reduced to a much lower level. Like that also need explanation, poor peeps working at BCA have to entertain senseless people.
