Nine Months

“Nine Months”, a comedy starring Hugh Grant (Samuel), Julianne Moore (Rebecca) & Robin Williams (Dr Kosevich). Samuel’s life is perfect. That is, until he finds out that his girlfriend is pregnant. Now he must face the issues that come with being an expecting father.

Supposing this comedy makes viewers laugh and feel good. Well, it made me bawl. I couldn’t stop crying when the mothers were screaming in pain ready for delivery, and continued to sob when the babies were born. It was as though I’m the one in labor and I went on whimpering even after the show ended.

Did I over-react? But I’ll be going through the exact ordeal very soon (maybe worse).

Tell me that everything is going to be just fine. Epidural is helpful, isn’t it? The husband will be very supportive, wouldn’t he? The nurses will be very gentle, wouldn’t they? And the doctor has plenty of experience, right? Jamie will co-operate and crawl out on her own. No?! *faint*

Believe me, I’ll freak out when I experience my first contraction. It’s gonna be tormenting, I know… Gosh! I’m terrified.
