Burn In Hell, Auntie

Today, I boarded the MRT along with another pregnant lady and a middle-aged auntie (let’s just call her Barbarian). Ah-ha! 2 preggies boarding the train at the same time… Well, the other preggy looked kinda pale, carrying bags of groceries so I thought to myself that if anyone were to give up any seats, she should have it.

An amiable young chap nearest to the door offered his seat as soon as we walked in. Without delay, the Barbarian rushed forward and sat down! The gentleman was shocked, and the other preggy looked completely lost, with all eyes staring at us.

Having seen what happened, a couple of passengers offered their seats to the other preggy & me. Bless you all.
The Barbarian? She simply couldn’t be bothered, propped her head against the glass panel & fake sleep! Oooh… If I'm not pregnant, I swear I would have slapped her sickening face there and then. Is this how uncivilized some people can be?

Fine! I’ll just have to accept the disgusting fact that not everyone is considerate and it’s not a law to give up seats to those who might need it more.
And, this is not a matter of being spoilt because I don’t board any public transport expecting people to give up their seats to me.
In my opinion, giving up your seat is not a favor, instead it’s a basic courtesy that all human beings should possess just like you need not be taught on how to breathe!
